Digital hiking pins. Summit collection

The traditional hiking pins, which you used to be able to collect from local tourist boards after a successful summit conquest and pin onto your hiking hat, have had their day. Nevertheless, many hiking tourists don’t want to do without them. The digital version of hiking pins has become the norm. There are now a wide variety of hiking pins in the region – hardly surprising, given that hiking between the Tux Alps and the Karwendel massif is truly unique here.

Our guests can use their smartphones to (Download the SummitLynx app from the Play Store) to collect digital hiking pins and track their personal hiking progress. Our hiking pins are divided into four categories:

- Summit Conqueror pins in gold, silver and bronze
- Grubertaler Fan pins
- Places of Power discovery pins
- Zwugl children’s pin
- NEW from 2025: Mountain Legends long-distance hiking trail pin

The Summit Conquerors pins in gold, silver and bronze

Our ‘Summit Conqueror’ pins are traditionally divided into the Gold Summit Conqueror pin , the Silver Summit Conqueror pin and the Bronze Summit Conqueror pin . Depending on the difficulty of each summit, points are awarded to be collected in order to receive the corresponding pin at the end. We have selected some very special destinations for our ambitious hikers: at first glance, some peaks may seem unremarkable, but once you’ve immersed yourself in the rugged mountain world of the Karwendel and the Tux Alps, you’ll quickly realise just how unique the landscape in the Hall-Wattens holiday region is.

The Zwugl Children’s Pin

Abzeichen mit einer lachenden Figur im Zentrum, umgeben von einem gelben Kreis. Darunter steht: 'Zwugel Kinder-Nadel Region Hall-Wattens'.

Our hiking badge, designed especially for children, features our mascot Zwugl Zirbe, the forest and a ball – this is Zwugl’s home, which is why he bears this name. He recounts his amazing adventures in the little book *Bergfloh am Glungezer*. To ensure it isn’t too difficult for our youngest hikers, there’s just one ‘mini-tour’ to complete.

The Grubertaler Fannadel

Ein rundes Logo mit einer stilisierten Bergkulisse und drei Personen. Unten steht "Grubertaler Fan-Nadel Region Hall-Wattens" in Rot und Schwarz.

The three young musicians Florian, Michael and Reinhard Klingenschmid from the idyllic Tyrolean village of Volderberg are now among the best-known faces on the Schlager and party scene. Their career has taken off and they have already released 27 albums. The successful Tyrolean band has achieved what many dream of – striking a unique balance between folk music and party pop, all whilst enjoying groundbreaking international success.
In their spare time, they enjoy hiking in the Hall-Wattens region and have revealed their three favourite spots to us:

- Upper Town Square in Hall in Tirol
- Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens
- Glungezers Peak in Tulfes
If you hike to or visit all three of these truly special places, you can look forward to receiving the Grubertaler Fan Pin.
