Culinary delights. In the heart of Tyrol
The Hall-Wattens region has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine: whether Tyrolean home cooking or award-winning restaurants, good food from the farm or high-proof spirits from the distiller. The Hall-Wattens region has something for everyone!
The special thing about Tyrolean cuisine is its simplicity. All ingredients can be found in the immediate vicinity, usually from the farmer around the corner! We are home to the largest vegetable garden in Tyrol. Many farmers offer various products directly in their farm stores. The farmers' markets, such as the weekly Hall farmers' market, offer a huge selection of local produce, some of which is organically grown. While you enjoy strolling through the market stalls, atmospheric music plays in the background. Afterwards, you can stop by your favorite coffee shop for a drink or simply enjoy the wonderful old town of Hall.
People come together over food! So says a Tyrolean proverb. It tastes even better over a convivial meal in one of the numerous inns or guesthouses. This makes your summer and/or winter vacation perfect and immerses you in the culinary Tyrolean mountains. Learn more about the use of herbs on guided herb hikes as part of our weekly program. And if you can't come, you can find our culinary blog on this page, with lots of great recipes to cook.
Culinary festivals such as the radish festival or the organic mountain farmers' festival round off the offer. Come and visit us and experience a special kind of hospitality! We will be happy to help you find suitable accommodation.
