From seasonal fruit and vegetables to meat and dairy products, local farmers offer a wide range of Tyrolean produce all year round. The Hall-Wattens region is home to many small-scale, family-run farms, which are run with great passion and tradition.

Knowledge passed down through generations, careful and good treatment of the landscape and animals, a connection to high-quality food and the joy of the profession are probably decisive factors for the farmers' excellent products. Whether at the farmers' market, the Alpine dairy or the farm store, buying food directly from the producer (farm-gate sales) gives us as consumers the chance to get to know the producer personally. Questions about animal husbandry, preparation or the product itself can be answered directly by the farmer on site. The freshness of the produce, the fact that the goods do not have to be transported, the varied and different tastes and a fair price are further advantages of buying regional produce in a farm store.
