Zirbensee. Water playground
The Zirbensee lake on the Glungezer is a highlight of your summer vacation in Tyrol. The reservoir above the Tulfeinalm lies at an altitude of 2,100 meters above sea level. Surrounded by beautiful alpine roses and benches, it is the perfect destination for relaxing and enjoying the mountain. The Zirbensee also serves as an ideal starting point for fantastic hikes on the Glungezer, such as the 1st Austrian legend via ferrata, the Almrosensteig to the Schartenkogel or the Hirschvogelsteig to the Sonnenspitze past the Glungezerhütte.
Water playground at the Zirbensee
The small water playground below the Zirbensee invites you to cool off in the cold water. Young and old can play in the water here and relax their tired legs in the water after hiking. Play elements, such as a fountain with a water pump and various small streams where the water can be dammed and diverted, ensure that children's hearts beat faster. Skilled visitors can jump and balance from stone to stone in the water. Those who prefer a more relaxed approach can also enjoy the magnificent views of the Inn Valley and the Karwendel mountains from the viewing platform.
