Hikes. With children

Hiking with children is really fun! Especially on the varied children's hiking trails in the Hall-Wattens region. Pram-friendly trails, easy climbs that are not immediately too demanding, play areas on the mountain such as the ball forest on the Glungezer or the water playground at Lake Zirbensee as well as digital hiking options such as our children's hiking pin or geocaching offer families with children plenty of variety on their summer vacation in the Hall-Wattens region.

Tips for hiking with children

  • Choose the hikes according to the age and ability of the children.
  • Allow more walking time as more breaks are needed.
  • Pack enough water and drink plenty.
  • Wear suitable footwear for the respective hike.
  • Bring weatherproof clothing and a change of clothes.
  • The journey is not the only goal - motivate yourself with small rewards at the end of the hike.
