The Grafenhof. Riding therapy center
The Grafenhof in the village of Gasteig near Tulfes is situated in a beautiful recreational area approx. 15 km from Innsbruck. Here you can enjoy a fantastic view of the impressive Tyrolean mountains. Our family-run farm is easy to reach and is far away from smog and traffic noise.
Therapeutic riding is a holistic support and therapy method for children, young people and adults in which the horse plays a central role as co-therapist. The resulting dialog between movement and relationship can provide new impetus, even for clients who are tired of therapy. The equine therapy program includes pedagogical, psychological, psychotherapeutic, rehabilitative and socio-integrative elements. The focus is less on equestrian training and more on promoting the individual development of each client from the back of the horse as well as from the ground. Being with the horse and the resulting emotional components are the essence of every therapy session.
