The emperor's favorite place. Guided hike Thaur
Every Thursday at 12.00 noon, guests from the Hall-Wattens region can take part in a guided hike in Thaur as part of the weekly summer program.
Accompanied by a nature park guide, we walk along forest paths and steep trails to the Thaurer Alm in the middle of the Karwendel Nature Park. Following in the footsteps of Emperor Franz I, we reach the Kaisersäule, a mighty stone pyramid from the early 19th century. The view of the Inntal valley and the many three-thousand-metre peaks on the opposite side of the valley is magnificent and guarantees a real panoramic view!
