Pilgrimage in the Hall-Wattens region. Guided tour
Then and now - using the example of Absam and Hall
The program includes Absam and Hall, an "active" place of pilgrimage and a former one (Florian Waldauf). The tour includes the basilica, votive tablet chapel and old cemetery in Absam, and possibly also the apparition house. Guests learn everything they need to know about the famous Marian apparition and its veneration. As part of a walk through the village, the apparition house can also be visited on request and by prior arrangement. Back in Hall, we go back into history and look at the Ritter Florian Waldauf Foundation in the Hall parish church, the Haller Heiltumsstuhl and the former veneration of relics at the time of the Reformation.
