Declaration of accessibility
Declaration on accessibility
The Tourismusverband Region Hall-Wattens endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with § 14b of the Tyrolean Anti-Discrimination Act 2005 implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (OJ L 327, 2.12.2016, p. 1).
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.hall-wattens.at
Status of conformity with the requirements
This website is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Web - WCAG 2.1" or with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.
Content that is not accessible
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons
(a) Incompatibility with accessibility regulations
For some recorded videos, the subtitles are missing, so the spoken content is not available for deaf users. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.2 (subtitles recorded) is not met.
Subtitles are added to new videos as soon as they are published.
The search results are displayed dynamically on the same page on which the search is started. This means that, for example, the page title and the position display of the page remain unchanged. The following problems are known: The keyboard focus is not on the area with the search result after the search has been sent. Screen reader users do not receive any information about the changed content of the accessed web page. The search results area is not directly accessible via the keyboard. The jump marker link to the content (Accesskey 1) cannot be used, for example (WCAG 2.4.1 Skip blocks). In the page navigation for scrolling between the search results pages, the links to the last page or the first page cannot be focused using the keyboard (tab key) (WCAG 2.4.1 Keyboard and 2.4.3 Focus order).
b) Unreasonable load
Our videos are hosted and published on the video platform Youtube. It is not possible to provide the required audio descriptions for some of these videos. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 (audio description recorded) is not met. We are of the opinion that a correction would represent a disproportionate burden in terms of the accessibility regulations.
c) The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation
Many, predominantly older PDF documents and Office documents are not accessible. For example, PDF documents are not tagged so that they cannot be read and used by screen reader users, or only to an insufficient extent. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not fulfilled.
Please let us know if you have difficulties with specific documents. We will make the content accessible on request and replace the documents or add accessible alternatives. For new documents, we endeavor to make them accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.1 and PDF/UA-compliant before publication.
