Day of the Monument. Hall in Tyrol
The core of the historic traditional inn Die Bretze dates back to the late Middle Ages. In 1899, the "Einsiedler" society was founded in the inn, which ultimately led to the collection of paintings that were redesigned in the so-called "Künstlerstube" in the early 1930s. This popular inn closed its doors in 2016.
The new owner decided to continue the inn's tradition. From 2018, extensive restoration, adaptation and extension work was carried out, including the creation of a new restaurant area on the first floor. In all these measures, the focus was always on preserving the historical value, memory and charm of the former inn.
During the guided tours on the occasion of Monument Day, the focus will be on the history of the building, the "Einsiedler" society and the restoration of this traditional inn in Hall.
