Stages in the Hall-Wattens region
Bike swing stage 8: Steinach am Brenner - Tulfes
This stage is quite relaxed with just over 400 meters of ascent. Right at the start of this easy to moderately difficult stage, a nice first downhill treat awaits. There are a total of 1,000 meters of downhill on this route. The Bikepark Tirol in Steinach on the Bergeralm offers downhill mountain bikers two downhill trails. The route then leads from Matrei along the old Roman road back into the Wipptal and below the famous Patscherkofel to Tulfes.
Bike swing stage 9: Tulfes - Pertisau
Almost 1,500 meters in altitude are covered by mountain bike on this moderately difficult to difficult route. The ride from Tulfes into the Inntal valley and from Jenbach to Pertisau in particular demands a lot from mountain bikers. But the 1,500 meters of altitude difference downhill are worth it. The lakeside promenade from Maurach to Pertisau along Lake Achensee is the crowning glory of this section.
