The Mountain Doctor is primarily associated with the Wilder Kaiser region (and here the villages of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll). However, only very few people know this: The numerous town scenes are filmed in the beautiful old town of Hall in Tirol. For example, in the elementary school on Stiftsplatz, in the Rathauscafé or on Oberer Stadtplatz.
