Hiking. In spring
Hike into spring in the Hall-Wattens region. Start with a leisurely hike in the valley or climb to higher destinations on the sunny side of the Inn Valley, such as the Kaisersäule. A very special highlight in spring is the crocus blossom on the Walderalm, which takes place in April depending on the weather. Spring offers a fantastic natural spectacle when the snow is still on the summit and the flowers in the valley begin to bloom. The mild temperatures ensure perfect hiking conditions and make your spring vacation a very special experience.
Checklist for hiking in spring
- Have a grödel or crampons with you - if you want to go into the mountains in spring, you have to be prepared and equipped for snow fields
- Pack a rain jacket - the weather can change quickly in spring and you can be caught out by the rain
- Wear a warm jacket - Even though it may already be warm in the valley, the higher up the mountain, the faster the temperatures drop
- Take a headlamp - It gets dark early and quickly in spring, so a headlamp should always be in your hiking rucksack anyway
