rundumThaur. Showroom at the Romediwirt
Culture and nature on the castle hill in Thaur. In 2018, the project rundumThaur was realized in cooperation with the municipality of Thaur, the Kwarwendel Nature Park and the Chronos association. The showroom and exhibition are located in the Romediwirt inn on the second floor. 6000 years of settlement history presented in a varied and entertaining way. The showroom is completed with an exhibition designed by the Karwendel Nature Park focusing on "owls". Fortunately, there are plenty of them around the Romediwirt in Thaur and throughout the nature park. On display are taxidermy specimens as well as owl eggs.
The voyage of discovery continues outside. With the free "rundumThaur" smartphone app, you can discover the area of the nearby castle ruins. Squire Kunibert explains to children what happened here in years gone by.
